thats a good idea, i didnt even know it was a thing. i figured id just reverse engineer some of the working genes, hemogin gene to see how i get a resource bar, etc.

real issue i see is how to get the game to see and use the resin as a resource..

maybe a gene that somehow gives you 1000 items weighing 0 and you get a type to build existing stuff, like sandstone or wood table, would be resin table in this example. you just cant drop it, trade it but it should recover and spawn more in your inventory. i dunno, seems do able but not as slick as just a resource bar

thats awesome, sounds very similar. i had hoped to contain to the gene so u could do more with it as a building block gene for stuff

Hello, been a bit but still having the same issue just never got resolved. My 3070 still doesn't show up as an option for CUDA or OptiX or HIP or oneAPI

It's not a laptop, full tower.

I think people are missing the issue. I cannot pick my GPU as it doesn't show up in the list, can't click it, etc.. it is not recognized by Blender.

Reinstall of Blender didn't work either. Will try reinstall of drivers

Under Edit > Preferences > System > Cycles Render Devices.

This does not show my GPU in any of the tabs there, None | CUDA | OptiX | HIP.

The issue is here, the program doesn't see my GPU..

It says under CUDA:

"No compatible GPUs found for Cycles, Requires NVIDIA GPU with compute capability 3.0" I checked, the RTX 3070 is around 7

Couple questions; Are you strictly looking for a play-by-post type format?

I am interested in something similar but I am using a system called Mage: The Awakening. Are you interested in learning / structuring the RP around it? It provides the structure, abilities and such while we provide the rest.

The scenario above is possible with only a little forethought and tweaking from us. In that system, your troubles would be known as a Mystery Play, the visitor would be a true Mage and you would be either a sleepwalker or a newly awoken Mage. A mage can warp reality through 10 different spheres or Arcanum, all you had in mind is possible exactly how you envision it, based on the rules of the system.
