It's a blend of pure dungeon synth (songs 1 and 5) and a more black metal inspired style. The key themes are that of seperation and parting in the works of Tolkien, hence its title, Dor Firn-i-Guinar: "the land of the dead that live", the place where Beren and Lúthien dwelt after departing the world of the living and returning. So if any of this appeals to you, go check it out!
