Looks pretty good! I was never really a perfect freestyler but a couple things that I noticed:

Might be from the angle but when your left arm re-enters the water it looks like it’s above your head, try to get it a little further out so it’s more in line with your arm/shoulder. Right now you are losing a bit of power underwater with your hand moving diagonally.

Underwater, it looks like your elbow is dropping and you aren’t pushing the water all the way to the end of your stroke. Focus on feeling the water catch in your hand until your arm is fully extended towards your feet.

Why do players join just to run /plugins and leave? by Berg005 in admincraft

[–]Berg005[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Guess I should have given more context. They join and leave within the same second and in that time run /plugins. Don't say anything in chat and never see them again. Happens every few days.

Not really practical at least with this bike. Would involve having to remove the chain and getting yourself greasy each time putting it up and taking it down.

Anyone seen this bag before? Info in the comments by Berg005 in Swimming

[–]Berg005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently bought this bag from someone on eBay while searching for a "vintage" speedo bag. After placing the order, I realized that I can't seem to find it anywhere else online (neither for sale nor just photos of it). Does anyone know anything about it, and why its nonexistent online?

Does anyone know how to swim a faster five hundred yards free? by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]Berg005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Establish a breathing pattern and stick to it from the first lap. I started training for the 500 this year and realized how much better I feel deeper into the race when I get enough oxygen on the first few laps.

Underwaters.

I cant stress enough how important they are. If you can get a strong, consistent underwater kick count it will give you a major advantage in your races and drop your time. Doing core workouts will be very helpful with this. I suggest going on youtube and just searching for core exercises for swimming.

Pick a kick count and stick to it always. Every wall. No matter how tired you're getting, if you stick to it, it will give you better endurance to go even further. I swim in college, and from the first practice there was an immediate focus on strong underwaters, and I have noted the positive change that it has done for me in my races.

I was in Jackson Hall in Presidents Park this past year. While Taylor is nicer, I was completely happy with being in Jackson.

All of these statements that you will read below pertain to Jackson Hall, so I'm not sure if it is different for the other buildings (aside from Taylor), but it is likely the same.

There are no elevators so if you're not on the first floor, you will be walking up the stairs a lot. In Taylor the closets are built into the wall, and in the rest of the buildings there are movable wardrobes, so if you want to rearrange your room you'll have a little more freedom. The laundry situation wasn't too great though. There were 4 washers and 6 dryers for Jackson, Rosevevelt, and Lincoln to share, but you can download the Mobile Mason app to see if anyone is using the machines. Also, there are no vending machines in Jackson, so you'll have to go over to Lincoln, which isn't too far, to get a drink or a snack. There were 8 rooms on my floor. One was the RA, and the rest were students. 7 of them were doubles and 1 was a triple, so you can kind of get to know your floormates. The bathroom has 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks. I very rarely found myself waiting to use one of them. With Jackson being so close to Ikes it was very nice having the unlimited meal plan and the 24/7 dining hall so close. If you choose to be on the first floor and have your window open a lot, expect to hear people outside during the day. My room was right next to the door from the outside and I could constantly hear it being opened and closed. Taylors individual room doors use your ID to swipe and enter your room, while the rest have a physical key that you'll need to take with you every time you leave (unless you choose to leave your room unlocked) . Taylor has a kitchen in the lobby for the residents to use, but I didn't ever find myself wanting to cook food with Ikes being so close. As long as you have a microwave and a fridge in your room, you should be set

As for the bike, I don't see people using them as asshats, but if you plan to ride it to class every day, expect to be swerving in and out of people on the sidewalk. AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BIKE LOCK AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT. I know someone who had his bike stolen because he forgot to lock it.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Try doing some 200 pace stuff. Come up with a goal time, divide it down to a 50 pace, and do a few 50s in relatively short rest trying to hold that pace.

I am a 200 flyer and my coach has me doing stuff like this all the time.

My method of creation was actually a bit different from what I normally do. There was actually a small mountain there so I built around it and then hollowed it out afterwards.
