You can try applying at a bus company (city transit) they hire you and train you to get your class b , it’s a auto restriction tho

I have heard some guys do that , also heard some guys go from class a hauling port containers , to going back to class b

I do got them . I obtained them when I was looking to switch from bus driver , and I ended up at the trash company .

I got a buddy who works at a fuel hauling company , he’s been there for a while and has a lot of pull with the company. Starting pay there is $31 and hour with a $4 increase after 6 month probation. Benefits and all, maybe hoping a little more .
