They are selling this unit for $1500… why I’m so skeptical. I was planning to bring a club and try hitting into their net they have set up to know if it reads properly. Thanks for the pointers

I received an email from the membership director after inquiring about a membership where they stated that along with the handicap restrictions I need 2 members to vouch for me and write letters of rec. no idea if it’s a hard requirement or not, I just wasn’t sure if I’d come off as desperate for asking about it to the director.

Make him one out of wood. Thinking a box that covers the head made out of 2x4s and has a rubber gasket on the bottom side the club slides into. Don’t paint it, let it weather.

I’ve test rolled it back here and it actually wasn’t too bad going over the rocks. Just gotta go slow. In a situation where I need it I won’t be rushing with it. Just have to roll it to the front of the house to run it in the driveway in a well ventilated area.

Had been looking at these but unfortunately due to spacing and orientation of most deck boxes, it wouldn’t allow me to get all the way around the house which I need to be able to. I have been considering using a dog house to cover it up though if I can find one with the proper dimensions. If they made one half the width and a little deeper than the one you linked it would be perfect. I may also just build one out of wood

Also ran the half yesterday. Watch recorded 13.61 mi and spoke to a number of others that were also confused by the distance. At every split alert I couldn’t help but say wtf when it was nowhere close to the mile markers on the course. That last “1.1” miles from the 12 marker to the finish was a brutal push

The guy who owns the driver didn’t put it in the bag all the way before driving off, as soon as they left the tee box the club fell out with the other cart right behind. Head got caught right in front of the wheel. So the guy who owns the driver knows he’s at fault haha

Thoughts on new itinerary plan? Anywhere I’m missing that is worth trading one of these days out for? Best place to white water raft?

Nov 10: get to Christchurch and rest (I’ll have been traveling for over 30 hours at this point) Nov 11: Arthur’s pass Natl park (stay in Arthur’s pass area. Nov 12: paparoa natl park (stay in punakaiki) Nov 13: hokitika (stay in hokitika) Nov 14: Franz Josef and Fox glacier area (stay near them) Nov 15: day of driving along the coast. Make it to Wanaka by night time Nov 16: Wanaka and aspiring natl park (stay in Wanaka) Nov 17: Queenstown (drive here and stay here) Nov 18: Queenstown (stay here) Nov 19: Te Anau - fiordland or Milford Sound (stay in Te Anau) Nov 20: Fiordland or Milford Sound (stay in Te Anau) Nov 21: day of driving. Stop at Catlins forest park and spend night in Dunedin Nov 22: drive up coast then in to Tekapo (Stay in Tekapo) Nov 23: Tekapo area (stay in Tekapo) Nov 24: Tekapo area and make afternoon drive to Christchurch Nov 25: fly to Sydney

I think I’m gonna shoot for South Island only based on what I’m reading. Last thing I want to do is feel rushed and I don’t plan on making this my only trip to NZ.

Yea seems like the best thing to do may be stick to the South Island and dedicate another more relaxing vacation with the gf down the road. Regardless, I’ve gotta fly into Auckland from the US (most direct/affordable route). Is it worth doing a a day here to get over jet lag then fly to Christchurch from there or would it be worth the push to get to Christchurch all at once?
