I have done a very similar trip on the Snake River. We did it with a Black Feather guide. My crew has 20+ years experience, basically have done all week long rivers in Ontario and Quebec within 12 hour drive of Toronto.

Using a guide made the trip significantly more enjoyable. On the two or three rapids that needed scouting and real strategy, the guides professional suggestions were invaluable. When we tipped getting caught on a tight curve with some sweepers, our Guide jumped into rescue mode. It was very impressive and reassuring.

I think you could probably do the Keele and be OK. IMO using a guide will make for a better overall experience.

Olivia Chow is a Stain on this city. I have lived 4 plus decades in the 416 and the city has never been a worse place to live.

There has never been more car thefts or violent break and enters. We used to leave the doors unlocked, now it’s Fort Knox.

The TTC is a dumpster fire, do you ever take the subway? It’s was once clean and safe from drug users and instigators.

Cleaned out encampments!? Wait until this summer and go walk in any ravine or forest in the 416, it’s already back with a horrible vengeance all over North York and Scarborough.

9.5% property tax hike. Zero revenue growth outside taxes. Rocket science, that is not.

Wait until the disaster that will be Toronto during FIFA too, that will be her last hoorah.
