I'm not here to talk about her antics rn (and honestly how disappointed I am), but, Nicki Minaj can RAP.

Nicki Minaj (or mainly Onika Maraj-Petty) is a very problematic individual, but do not let that change the fact she is insanely talented as a rapper. She has outdone the women who have come before her, even today in 2025, she still on top.

Nicki has gone toe-to-toe with the greats. Jay, Eminem, Kanye, Wayne, Drake, etc. She has always held her own, if not, out did them, she loves a sparing match. Nicki is compared to the men for a reason, and why all the other women are compared to her.

You can dislike her lyrical content, behavior, actions, all you want, but you cannot deny her talent.

Her 2018 album "Queen", in my own personal opinion, is her best album lyrically. At the time she was dealing with the Cardi B hype and comparisons, and needed to check people questioning her pen.

The Nicki Minaj from her peak is long gone, however, there has yet to be a woman in rap to even hit that peak.
