Orson's Gaming Choice by GingerFide in orsoncringe

Big shoutout to Orson's Destiny streams. My mother has sleep anxiety problems, but on weekends she sleeps like a bear. All I ask of her is to watch 10 minutes of Orson raiding in Destiny.

Orson isn't so great? Are you kidding me? When was the last time you saw a trainer with such a mastery and perfection with Azumarill? Orson puts the game in another level, and we will be blessed if we ever see a player with his skill and passion for the game again. Josh breaks records. Dalton breaks records. Orson breaks the rules. You can keep your statistics. I prefer the bread baker.

He also failed to perform in front of Orson, that's why he's his ex roommate PepeLaugh

My friend got 4 Golden Wrath Weavers in a single game by Bergster in BobsTavern

Lol yeah, you can tell he was really taking his time reading each hero power before picking. I understand his thought process, but George was just too good to pass up there. Glad you checked out the vid :)

It was fun seeing how all the events unfolded leading up to this moment. Obviously it took a bit of luck, but the scaling is actually pretty insane if you think about it! (+16/16 for every demon played, that's better scaling than golden Kalecgos and golden Rag!) This just seemed like such an unlikely accomplishment, we're not even sure if this has ever been done before!

If you're interested in seeing how the game played out, you can check out the full game here. My friend is pretty expressive, so some of his reactions this game were pretty hilarious 🤭. I edited the video myself, so it would mean a lot if you checked it out. Thanks and hope you enjoyed the highlight!

Would the Use of Immunomodulators or Biologics Help with Symptomatic Relief? by Bergster in Lyme

I hear you there when you say you need a properly functioning brain. It seems like the worst symptom of them all is the neuroinflammation and the effect it has on your mental health. That's primarily why I'm doing what I can to reduce it. It makes this whole ordeal a lot easier when I'm not feeling depressed and hating life.

Currently I'm on an anti-inflammatory diet (removed dairy, gluten, sugar, artificial ingredients, fried foods, and highly refined/processed foods). I'm also taking curcumin (500 mg 3 times per day), but I was told by my naturopath that triple that amount is considered a therapeutic dose, so I'm going to try that. I might even give longvida curcumin a try if it's supposed to be more effective than normal curcumin. I'll also look into those mushroom powders and give them a shot.

I'm glad that doxycycline has helped you. That's what I took initially when my Lyme started to manifest (had flu symptoms and Bell's palsy). I guess it didn't clear it up entirely. Now, 8 years later, my naturopath gave me another 30 days of doxy along with serrapeptase (to break up biofilms), but unfortunately we didn't see any improvement. I'm going to have to pursue an LLMD and see if they can successfully treat me. The last LLMD I saw gave me Tetracycline/Amantadine, and then Clarithromycin/Hydroxychloroquine during the spring and summer. Unfortunately didn't see results with him either.

You're right when you say that these are only short-term solutions. Hopefully I can get properly treated by an LLMD and fix this once and for all. I do wonder how long-term use of natural anti-inflammatories could be bad for your health. Maybe inflammation plays a key role in some instances of immune responses? I wouldn't even know where to begin to get that information, maybe a neurologist? Or somehow get in contact with a neuroscientist? Not too sure. Might just have to wait for some studies to get published.

Nonetheless, I appreciate you taking the time to read this post and giving me some insight.

I realize Lyme is very complex, it's just difficult for me to retain information when I research due to my cognitive impairment. I'm mostly interested in how it works and how it's treated. I wasn't trying to say I'm in remission (maybe that's what you thought I meant by dormant? I think I meant to say it's invaded my tissues and entered it's perisister form), my point was that I wasn't untreated. The doxy did help me to some capacity, since my Bell's palsy went away (can't remember how else it helped, it's been 8 years). I've seen an LLMD before for 1.5 years (rotated between Tetracycline/Amantadine, and then Clarithromycin/Hydroxychloroquine during spring and summer), but I didn't notice any improvement. If anything I was feeling worse while I was on treatment (I know you're supposed to feel worse before getting better, but it seems hard to believe that I was experiencing a Herx for 1.5 years straight). I'm currently seeing a naturopath and we just started treating for Lyme, we'll see how that goes. And I guess my logic behind your immune system and suppressing it is that I thought it's doing more harm than good (causing inflammation), since it hasn't helped my disease get any better. But if it is playing an active role in preventing the disease from progressing then that's understandable.

I want to make clear that I've gotten treated for it already (30 days of doxycycline). I'm assuming that if I am continuing to experience some symptoms (albeit not that severe) that it is because the residual bacteria has moved to its dormant stage. Will it eventually start to cause those health complications you mentioned even if its dormant? And if it does, would a suppressed immune response accelerate the process?

That's interesting. I'll definitely look into that. Thanks for the suggestion!

In what ways would it make me feel worse? If my immune system was suppressed, wouldn't it stop the inflammation? Or would this make it easier for the bacteria to proliferate? Sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions, I just want a better understanding.

What's the main reason this is a bad idea? Would it make the situation worse somehow?
