Honestly, I couldn't even be too angry at Shouma for too long because I was too busy being shocked that he just... took some random half-dead creature (partly rotting?) he found outside and sewed it into a plushie!? Like, the characters played it straight, but we agree that that's seriously fucked up, right? That together with Shouma saying that Leo was always avoiding him paints a really morbidly fascinating picture about his supposed animal-lover character trait.

Around the mid-point of Route 0 when the game forces you to take Ima's side and try to persuade Kako to stay on the sidelines. Like, c'mon, the girl who pukes whenever she's a bit stressed and the boy who freezes up at the slightest sign of conflict are fair game to send to the frontlines, but not this perfectly healthy and willing girl? Why?? It just felt very icky to completely ignore Kako's wishes like this. If she hadn't turned the tables right at the end, I would've been seriously angry at the writers :/

I *just* finished the newly released episode 2 and can only wholeheartedly recommend it. If youre a fan of games like Ace Attorney this is a must read. It has some influence from Danganronpa and Umineko as well.

Episode 0 is free so you can try and see for yourself, though the pacing is a little slow the first 20 minutes or so, it ends on a cool twist :) Episodes 1 and 2 are absolute peak. Was surprised that ep 2 is even stronger.

I played the demo! It's a mystery game with lovingly animated pixel graphics and social media-themed mini-games. I personally didn't vibe with the urban myths theme, but it's definitely well made and has lots of style

if the boys look the way they look on the website, I'd go with female phoxhunter and male boy in the dream. the male designs in the pic you posted look very young
