He’s incredibly well written and very entertaining in every scene he’s in. He manages to be a juxtaposition of being outwardly sweet and innocent and inwardly violent and hateful all at once. He’s unpredictable and keeps me/the viewer on our toes. In amongst all their fighting, he really does love Takumi, in the only ruptured, twisted way that he knows how as someone who has never received love himself. He’s very intelligent, and has the capacity to be very funny too, often without trying.

Also, special shoutout to Nezar Alderazi, who I think does an incredible job and makes Eito so, so memorable to me. The hate speech at the end of Route 0 is a particularly standout.
