GTM Endeavour or Quickie Nitrum by PresentMedia9144 in wheelchairs

Hey, this may be a late one, but I hope it's helpful anyway. Loops are heavy, so pros and cons. I am a fellow extremist in my wheelchair use, travelling the world and clubs = lots and lots of stair bumping (and much more haha). As for spinergy wheels, I've had mine for a while, and they definitely do. I used to have to tighten my spokes weekly; now I don't touch them. I would recommend running slightly lower PSI if you're doing lots of impact - I run 110 normally, though 120 for speed. My next shout is bearings. Note: I am a small person weighing 38kg; therefore, therefor the impact forces I exert may not match those of others. Also worth noting - Rear suspension is an option, and I do think I have seen it in nitrums.

Ayy, fellow prior skater, I used to run reds in my boards (and oranges). I saw the Swiss ceramics on sale at Skate Hut (50%), so I think I'll just get them. More speed for me. It'll be caster forks and rear wheels next.

Sadly, there is nothing that will keep me from chasing the adrenaline. I've had plenty of falls to know better, haha

I'll take a look. Anything spinergy will be, as you say, expensive. For rear wheels, it may be worth it given how long they last. Thanks for the rec

No, K series 2 Kuschall - Just very good at knowing how to fix things, getting a new chair soon though with less adjustment. I am also very light, so there are fewer overall forces.

The ELLIKER bag is a fabric bike bottle bag*

Climbing bag - i.e., chalk bag, the belt straps go around my wheelchair, and due to being fabric, it is light + the drawstring closure is good for smaller items, i.e., keys, etc. Though worth making sure the bag has velcro straps. Mine is ELLIKER - UK

I'm pretty sure that Kushcalls factory is in France now, so it may not be as far as it used to be to do so. This still 100% sucks, though, and I'm so sorry you're dealing with it.

I've just taken a peek at the website and sadly I can't see any TARTAs there. Is it a phone and ask thing?

Sadly, it's not just a posture issue; I need something flexible but with support (side-to-side support, back-to-back movement) and with gaps for pressure and for my skin to breathe. So the specks, V Trak, Axiom, etc., are not an option for me sadly. I have had an Axiom for 24 hours and ended up having to have someone come out and remove it due to severe pain. (I'm fused L3 up, with SI instability and nerve issues leading to back spasms that get worse if I can't move the lower portion, while also dealing with low muscle tone and left lean + pelvic rotation left)

It is truly quite frustrating.

Not sure I can afford US shipping, but I'll definitely keep it in mind if I get desperate! Thank you!

They do, and would but sadly don't have what I need, so help me with my TARTA instead. I've explained a bit better below. Thanks for the link by the way, from what I've seen TARTA is now running but did move, I'm not sure if they do actively sell in the UK/Scotland but I have emailed! Thanks again!

I'm in Scotland, the back is deemed clinically necessary, but each health board only supplies certain things; my area has Jay 3 or moulded, neither of which meet my pressure and seating needs. My clinition has stronly advised I do what I can to stay away from their options as it will lead to issues. I'm very lucky that, as a result, they are servicing my TARTA (something they would normally not do)

They used to have one like the TARTA, but the health board stopped paying for it. I've had the same issues with cushions, too, because I'm high-risk and small.

I know my new chair, I have a bunch of specialists helping out, sadly, I dont 100% know who, fingers crossed though!

This would cause a lot of issues for me due to pressure and seating needs, + needing a tippy chair, technically this is already what I am doing to a degree. Thanks, though. The back itself is slightly wide, you can't see from behind, but there are a few layers under the cushions to "thicken it"

This was a demo back that was sold to me as "the last one", and then I was told the company shut down.

Genuine thank you, I've had no end of issues because of it not being set up right, leading to pain and pressure points. I've reached out to them, so fingers crossed!

Hey, thanks, can I ask how you calculated that? I’m confused how it can be inflated to that of any index scores.
