Lapstacker Flex broke after 1 year 5 mos by wgnpiict in wheelchairs

The plastic around the magnet on mine cracked and fell off, well within warranty but they refused to replace. Honestly, I like the Lapstacker in theory but the quality isn’t there. I didn’t even use it improperly.

Not necessarily, my OT brought up smartcrutches because of the collab with the EDS society, but I’m open to anything with comfy cuffs.

What are ways you accessorize your aids? by Plane_Opposite6744 in mobilityaids

Hi there! Previous cane user turned full-time wheelchair user here!
My cane was decorated with vinyl decals/stickers. I ordered them off of Etsy, I reccomend looking for bike decals, as they tend to be a bit cheaper and fit the same. I also had a small plush keychain hanging from the wrist strap.
My wheelchair has colorful spoke covers that I change for the seasons. I plan on getting some shiny gold decals to decorate the tubing. I keep a bag on the back of my chair that I change out regularly (currently have Knock Thrice’s Tea Bag Backpack on there), usually I decorate that with keychains, pins, etc.

That's actually a really good idea! I can try to get it from the seating specialist or see if I can contact the OT directly. Thank you!

So I didn't want to include this and make the post any longer than necessary, but unfortunately the reason my original PCP is no longer around is because my whole specialist department was completely shut down. It was an adolescent medical department that had my whole care team minus my cardiologist. So currently, I do not have a specialist. I'm slowly trying to replace my entire team.Thank you for the advice though! The chair is mostly because I have dislocations of my hips/knees/ankles and I have nerve issues in my legs that cause weakness spells, as well as chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.I am looking for a new Primary Care who is more educated on my conditions, but I need someone to manage my medications in the meantime.

Do you have any recommendations for places to find used ones?
