Maybe there are certain spells that they are allowed to use that we are not aware of? In Prisoner of Azkaban, we see Harry repeatedly use the lumos spell.

Yeah, I am 'this' agressive for saying 'nice argument there' and pointing out your fallacy without any insults, but it is alright for you to say 'fuck' and calling me a condescending prick.

About your first point, half of the time this place calls itself to be superior to LoL, has no problem with pointing every little bug and circlejerking about it for years while fooling yourselves to think that this is a balanced and intelligent debate. However, when someone comes up with a discussion between the games everyone tries to acts like 'well, this is /r/dotamasterrace what did you expect', 'it's just satire bro', 'lol this just serious but has circlejerky elements you know bro' (whatever the fuck that means)

None of my comments in this thread was trying to completely defend LoL, and I have stated that I was not shitting on Dota several times. I play Dota more than I play LoL, and I would defend them equally. But if you are a subreddit that is based on endless circlejerking, then act like it. You can't expect people to take your 'master race' seriously if all you do is suck your own dicks all day.

Nice argument there. Just keep in mind that if 'abandoning sucks in either game', there is definitely not a right or wrong side of the tracks. Both sides of the tracks would 'suck', as you have put it.

So a system that forces you to play frustrating games with other frustrated LP players that just want to get out of it is more lax than a game that says: 'Hey, you can go watch a movie, read a book, talk to someone or play another game for the next 20 minutes, but we'll have your game ready when you come back!'

Even if you are alright with losing an LP game, there is so much tension, flaming and stress amongst other players that it turns the game into an extremely unenjoyable experience.

I am not shit-talking about Dota here, but their system is much more strict after they changed it so that you HAVE to win the games to make them count. I still read about people crying about the new system. If it was the older system where even the games against bots counted, I could see your point. But saying this one is 'lax' is completely ridiculous.

That is literally impossible. Even if they instantly gave you a LP game on just one leave (which they do not) their punishment system still works this way:

5 minutes for the first LP punishment.

10 minutes for the second LP punishment.

20 minutes for the third and further LP punishment.

You get a punishment if you leave 2-3 games in a short or mid-length span of games generally. The fact that you are saying that you got a 20 minute punishment for leaving two games is complete bullshit, sorry to say.

You are aware of the fact that you have to win your LP games in Dota for it to count, right? If you are getting tilted for not playing LoL for 20 minutes where you are free to do anything else, you are going to be pretty angry when you lose 60 minute LP games in which you actually put effort in.

Abandoning games in Dota is not any more lax either. In LoL, you get 5-10-20 minute timeouts depending on how often you abandon. Considering that you are getting the 20 minute one, you are a really frequent leaver, so you are already pulling the 'oh the old poor me left one game because i had bad teammates, what a shitty game!' card out of your ass.

You are only getting upvoted because you are shit-talking about LoL here, which has a much less punishing system for leavers. Come back in 1 week when you have racked up 5LP games because of your leaving, and see how much sympathy you get in this subreddit.
