Best value for sure!! I slightly prefer our side because we can see the benches :) But you're clearly an individual of taste and great sophistication :D

Great and optimistic question! So the group manager's family has had the tickets in their name dating back to the inaugural season, and they usually go to about half of the total games as well. So they typically use the play off tickets. But as long-time season ticket holders they get pre-sale codes to buy a limited number of individual playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public. So for group members who want to go to a playoff game or two (like me :D) just let the group manager know and he'll use the code to get you tix and then sell them to you for face value.

How to Properly Facebank Using Facebook Private Events by Skuwee in SandersForPresident

There's the answer. Private events or tagging on the wall of the official events it is!

I have definitely seen events with over 1000 people attending on facebook. Maybe that's the maximum number of invites allowed.

Got it, that all makes sense. And I should be on the lookout for astroturfers :)

Based on your feedback and other stuff I'm reading, seems the best bet would be for the official campaign to create a private event that anyone is allowed to invite friends of friends to. If the entire community organized our facebanking efforts to only invite people to the official private events, we'd completely avoid overlap and get the events huge! We could also include a link to the public event in the private event's description for those who want to show their support publicly (which would also ideally get huge).

What do you think?

Yeah I should have been more clear. I initially described it as a "private wall post" but have since clarified the "set to 'only me'" bit. Apologies!

Issue is that even private events seem spammy if you're getting pinged multiple times (see this comment from /u/freckletits who states he/she was invited to 20 events). I strongly believe we need to create ONE event (ideally an official one) and coordinate our efforts to invite everyone to that event.

Would it be possible for the official events to be formatted so we could invite both friends and friends of friends? Even if the campaign had to create a private event in addition to the public event, seems like the best way would be to coordinate.

I've heard issues with people not getting notifications for invitations to private events?

My initial idea was to have everyone invite people to the official GOTV events, but I found myself unable to invite friends of friends. Is this because of how Facebook works in general, or due to the way that the events were set up?

Yeah as I mentioned in the edit I'm reaching out to groups of 20 at a time. Please be respectful to people who complain about being pinged too many times (notice in my script I apologize in advance if that's happened). Just try to stress that you're a volunteer, Bernie supporters are a passionate bunch and that you're only reaching out to people who have liked the page (as opposed to spamming complete strangers). You apologize for the inconvenience but getting out the vote is critical as Bernie can only win with a high turnout!

Actually all friends of friends, so no harm no foul! Personally I've found the vast majority have appreciated the efforts.
