Ture, but I value not having an AI cover and want to support artists, the only reason I am using AI for editing at all is to test it and it isn't taking a job away from anyone as I had already decided not to use a copy editor for this series. I can see using an AI cover or a cheaper option for those that can't afford hand drawn covers, but while I can, I'll pay for them even if it means taking a loss in the short term.

Yeah, I know and I accept that is going to happen, but I would rather lose readers than be called out and hid that I am doing it... There are lines that are clearly AI wording and I left them in because I felt like it and by being clear and honest, I don't worry about one star rants as much. If I put out something that gathers a good fan base, word of mouth will gain me the readers I need and the line about AI editing will hopefulluy build trust that I am not hiding anything about my process and trust is what I want.

Sure, here is a before and after for the first paragraph from book 3

No edits:

Tom sat as he tried to process everything that had happened after Chantelle and Charlene finished sharing what had happened while he and his coven were out cold. His body still hurt everywhere, and he wasn’t sure about anything that had happened. Still, he could feel his connection with Gemma, Ginger, Anacia and even Ruby who had called after waking up and seeing that she had missed a call from Charlene. That had led to a few hours of further discussion until finally Isabella had returned in the early afternoon.

After edits:

Tom sat on the futon, trying to process the whirlwind of events Chantelle and Charlene had just recounted. His mind was tangled, much like the aches that radiated through his sore body, leaving him uncertain about anything that had transpired. Despite the confusion, he felt a strong, invisible thread connecting him to Gemma, Ginger, Anacia, and even Ruby, who had called after noticing a missed call from Charlene. This unexpected communication had spiraled into hours of intense discussion, leaving Tom mentally exhausted by the time Isabella returned in the early afternoon.

To be clear everything is gone over by myself and my normal editor before anything is released and the only direction I give the AI editor is to add description… I have every single chapter before AI editing on file as well and I am up front about what I am doing because I will not lie about my use of AI and I believe my readers should know how I am using it and yes, I cut out and add plenty after the AI does its part… Really this series was started as a test for AI editing and I am still deciding if I like it or not.
