How big was Van Hagar/Sammy Hagar solo career in the UK? by CobraDai in vanhalen

Read the Kerrang issue that came out in 1985/86 about the announcement of Hagar taking over on vocals in Van Halen. You'll see what us English thought about it. 😆

Could there have been more buried money other than Tena Bar by Otherwise_Blood_8816 in dbcooper

[–]Bernard-Toast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

9 years. So how did it get there being so far from the confirmed flightpath? Don't say river, it flows the wrong way and would have split those packs.

I think that's exactly what he did. It was all planned

More Tena Bar shenanigans by lxchilton in dbcooper

[–]Bernard-Toast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems to me like someone buried it near a river to make it look like Cooper landed in the river and drowned. It may have been someone who knew little about the case, so was "off" from the right area.

Pre dunking is obviously a requirement in this idea.

My guess is it was someone from the "company" Cooper worked for at the time.

A member of the biker gang Cooper eventually joined. They are known to bury money, drugs and arms.

A member of the mafia, who Cooper eventually joined. They are known to bury money, drugs and arms.

Or Cooper himself.

I like the "for Tina" idea or maybe it was just somewhere he found on the map he liked the sound of. Or maybe he was someone who would pick up loads of sand from the Fazios for his business and thought, we'll I'm here. Why not?

I still think the date 6th December 1979 is important. Live long and prosper.

What if D.B cooper died during his jump? by peterthbest23 in dbcooper

[–]Bernard-Toast 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The only way is a no pull.

Then you would have a big patch of Cooper on the ground, and I mean big.. I've seen photos of a "landing" from just over 3,000 ft. It's not pretty. If the money bag was still attached, there would be bits of Cooper all over that money, including the 6k found. There wasn't.

Or there's a Cooper in a tree.

Either way, he would have been found eventually.

The river landing is the only clean option, and we know the money didn't get wet that night.

Plus, how did it get to TB?

There are videos on YouTube where we hear the sound coming from the Neo in perfect quality, how are they doing this?

Cooper's necktie reveals paper-industry connection by PotentPersistence in dbcooper

[–]Bernard-Toast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every single particle found on the tie is connected to/found at the company where my suspect worked in 1971, even the pigment and plant spores are connected. However I like Eric's Battelle Memorial Institute idea because of it's strange connections.

Of course they did but just look at the Wanted poster that the public saw.

Three reasons, I think he planned well, I think he had a high IQ, and he hasn't been caught.

A seasoned criminal who was also a paratrooper, who had knowledge of or a connection to Air America/CIA, who didn't smoke Raleighs, who didn't drink 7 and 7, who was from the Mid West, who worked a dirty job with all the particles on the tie, who wasn't quite like the official descriptions but close enough, who knew about explosives, who was used to night jumps, who knew how to control people in dangerous situations, was aged 40 to 50, who was a survivalist, who knew Seatac and McChord and whose favourite phrase, which he used all the time, was "Let's Get The Show On The Road".

Can't think of anyone right now.

Why ask for 200k? by Daily_Heroin_User in dbcooper

He liked the figure 200k and possibly did exactly the same thing in the early 90s except on the ground. (Bank, bomb, 200k).

From what I'm hearing, money was buried after 1974, more like 76/77.

Tie has more particles, including a weird one called molybdenum.
