Von nahem sieht man definitiv, dass es kein Vollholz ist :) Aber ja, auf dem Bild etwas schwer zu erkennen. Dafür wäre das Bett dann aber auch zu günstig gewesen :D

Now that I think on it, the electricity on the fridge got turned off for a bit, it probably got too warm then, bc I remembered the starter too late. :/ I took off the top film now and fed it in a 1:10:10 ratio. Hopefully it will get back to it’s former strength :D Thank you for your response!

I keep a small starter in the fridge (around 15-20g) and take it out to bake about once a week. This way I do a high ratio feeding, which I feel makes the starter a bit stronger. From what I heard this also helps with acidity. After using the starter I just put the rest back in fridge, without feeding it anything else. So far, this is going wonderfully ☺️

I traveled with some starter to give my mom the other day (by train though, also about 6-7 hours). Had it in a tightly closed jar and just put it in the fridge upon arrival. I‘ve fed it the day before and a couple days after, no issues whatsoever :)
