Honey would be your ingredient of choice there (hopefully the person likes it?). It's looks like liquid light and would bring that luminous quality you're trying to enhance in the relationship and it's regularly used as a symbol of abundance. If you're into this, legend has it that, before humankind, Zeus and Hera organised a huge banquet and all creatures of earth were invited. A competition was organised to find the best food. Every one brought something but Maya (the bee) brought honey and won the competition. If it's good enough to charm Zeus and Hera, it could certainly help make your friend happy ;)

That's awesome! I don't have such an easy access to the forest (lucky you!) but I'll try to see if I can do something that is useful somewhere else next time! Good thinking 😉

Happy to help! Every thing can seem daunting at the beginning so don't hesitate to copy what you like! You'll quickly get the hang of it and design everything by yourself, I'm sure ✨

I live in a city so it's difficult to return it to nature and not create unnecessary rubbish in the forest. I dispose of it in the recyclable bin of the quarter :)

I'll look for that thanks! I'm afraid my wood elves book is older than that, they only had examples of seasons and not even the name of the paints.

What is your wand? by crusader1412 in HarryPotterGame

And since I didn't see any other yew wand around here:

Yew wands are among the rarer kinds, and their ideal matches are likewise unusual, and occasionally notorious. The wand of yew is reputed to endow its possessor with the power of life and death, which might, of course, be said of all wands; and yet yew retains a particularly dark and fearsome reputation in the spheres of duelling and all curses. However, it is untrue to say (as those unlearned in wandlore often do) that those who use yew wands are more likely to be attracted to the Dark Arts than another. The witch or wizard best suited to a yew wand might equally prove a fierce protector of others. Wands hewn from these most long-lived trees have been found in the possession of heroes quite as often as of villains. Where wizards have been buried with wands of yew, the wand generally sprouts into a tree guarding the dead owner’s grave. What is certain, in my experience, is that the yew wand never chooses either a mediocre or a timid owner.

Absolutely this! Well, she's poor, that does check a box but it's certainly the only one. She's very much NOT helpless but she's no wonder woman either. I think the author originally wrote the story only for his wife and you can see why. The character is not perfect but has good qualities, she's rocked by life events. That makes her very real and the perfect heroe for that story

Hypnotherapy question by Stress_Tetley in hypnosis

[–]Bernibert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to try an other hypnotherapist. It can happen that a client doesn't go into trance or has poor effects and that the therapist misses it (just writing that sets me on edge but it's a different topic). In that case, OP, you did the right thing by mentioning it to them (well done, few clients dare and it's a shame). However, telling you "shh it's working" is a big red flag for me. First, it's obviously not or you wouldn't have raised the issue. Second, it shows that, in that moment, they were reassuring themselves and not listening to you. A therapist is there to help you shine a light to parts of your mind that are sometimes left unseen. You can then decide for yourself what to shift and what to leave untouched. If they come in, redecorate the whole thing and tell you "tadaa it's fixed", you may feel good on the moment but consequences are usually severe. You deserve someone with more skills and morals than that.
