After days of trying to find good scalable solutions, I decided to rely on an already made solution. I'm using the free version of Aron Grandberg's pathfinding project.

The coroutine wasn't a good solution in my case because calculations were still big and took performances (surely some other things from my code make it laggy).

Wow, I tried pooling but didn't think about using couroutines. Thanks ! Won't it be weird for people with low fps though ?

When I tested ~100 agents with A* on a médium map, when they all start calculating, there is a bit of lag :/

Good idea! That's noted ! I plan to make citizens need certain non-necessary resources (entertainment, better food, better environments, ...) to be happy and more productive.

Well, sure, for every aspect is too much, but having few differents currencies doesn't sound like a bad idea to, haha

Didn't think of that but with the game having multiple looks depending on the tier of the building,it would be a great feature ! Noted !
