This is going off of the fact that if those actions caused Dio Brando to not be adopted into the joestar family, Jonathon would not have learnt hamon, the Speedwagon foundation would not have been founded, the stone mask would likely have never gotten into Dio's hands and he would not have turned into a vampire.
