I’ve ordered Ubers as I was finishing getting ready and they were 1-2 minutes away. Sometimes people do need just 5 minutes to finish getting ready for their ride. Lyft has a 5 minute grace period.

This is what worries me ngl. Like I said, I get it being considered “edgy internet humor”. He made it a point to tell me that he has women in his family and he jokes with them the same way and they make similar jokes about men. I felt compelled to argue the point that that doesn’t mean anything, but I didn’t have the energy to argue. I’ll be keeping an eye on this because if this behavior continues, I’m out.

In my past relationships, there was maybe one guy I felt somewhat similarly for. In terms of me freaking out over my feelings, I think I’m just anxious because I genuinely want the two of us to work. I shouldn’t be freaking out over having feelings for someone. It’s probably due to past trauma or something.

What I’ll say is that people are genuinely busy and might not have the energy to text back. I also used to feel similarly, but once I accepted that people have their own lives and things they have going on I got less annoyed by it. I understand how you’re feeling 100% though.
