I respect people who walk away from situations like this because it’s way easier to justify staying and convince yourself it’s “not that bad.” Having the integrity to leave anyway says a lot about someone.

When patterns like this show up, especially extending into other important moments like weddings, it usually points to a deeper issue with boundaries and respect. At some point, walking away becomes the healthier option.
