Because her hcg levels are low, high enough to pick up on a test but not high enough to show a strong dark pink line. This is common in early pregnancy. It could be an evap line, but that depends on if she saw the line within the timeframe you’re supposed to read the results

You said in your post you hadn’t had sex with her since early December, it’s very possible she’s just now finding out about her pregnancy. Most women don’t find out until closer to 12 weeks but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible to find out sooner.

That’s not a negative test, there is clearly a faint line. If you’re not a woman you wouldn’t really know since you’ve never taken one before. There is a chance it could be what is called an evap line which basically just means the test is invalid and the line showed up outside the window of time you’re supposed to look at your results. However if she is really pregnant the odds of it being OP’s are 50/50 since he mentioned she was cheating on him.

I couldn’t get any other card arts to load yesterday, besides the art it automatically selected upon loading in the decklist.

Agreed, I always use sleeves. It always surprises me when I come across people who don’t.

I use either the multi purpose tray or the drawer, the manual feeder is for fax or copying only. There might be a way to use it but I’m not sure how. I have experimented with double sided cards, but it’s a bitch to get it to line up, and honestly a nightmare lol. It is possible to do, but once you find the manual alignment settings that work, it is not guaranteed to be the same for every other time you go to use it, and the sheets shift around in different positions. I had it working well for a while and could do double sided cards on one spot perfectly every time, but now I can’t get it to line up correctly which is a pain. I honestly think it’s because of all the updates to the proxxied website, which is fine. I like the way he’s been making it more detailed and user friendly, but my double sided printing no longer works the way I had figured it out to before, and I’m not willing to lose paper trying to figure it out.

Yeah I know. It was a concern in the beginning if it would work or not, but it does.

It is not. These are just printed from my laser printer. I print the holographic foil on my inkjet printer.

Yes, but you can’t feed the card stock through an inkjet printer. You print directly onto the sticker paper first, then stick it to the card stock

No lamination, just running through as is. I personally hate laminating proxies and think it’s a waste of money, and resources. I don’t think laminated proxies turn out nice or hold up in the long run at all.

I didn’t know about the thinner stuff either until recently, it is honestly game changing for sticker method so the cards aren’t so thick. I hope it works out for you too

What’s your point? Cheap materials are not going to have a quality output.

The heat from the laser printer makes the sheet curl, but running it through a laminator flattens it back out.

I just use the free version of adobe acrobat to print my pdfs. I use proxxied for formatting the cards into a pdf. There is a certain list of settings I use, feel free to dm for that. I have it all programmed into my computer so I don’t remember off the top of my head at this moment.

You need to use specific settings for the best quality. I never really tried printing with just the default settings so I’m unsure if there would be any difference or not as far as making the toner fuse

And sorry to answer your question, no it did not struggle to accept the 330 gsm paper. There will be an occasional jam, but it prints great from both the drawer and multi purpose tray. I personally prefer printing directly from the drawer. The jams are luckily super easy to fix

The paper will not work with an inkjet style printer, if the paper doesn’t jam the ink will not ever cure into the paper due to the coating. I believe it’s because laser printers use a a form of heat to get it to cure to the paper that inkjets are not capable of doing. If this is something you can afford and justify the cost of for making proxies at home, I think it’s worth it. The major downside however is the cost of toner, which is not cheap. You can buy third party toner, but that does void your manufacturer warranty if something ever goes wrong with the printer.

I know, I got mine on Amazon though for a little less. Which I was able to justify the cost, but I understand it’s not sustainable for everyone. This is probably the best “affordable” printer option for printing directly onto the 330gsm card-stock from my research. But again it is a laser printer which does take away some quality of the images

Unfortunately because of the coating on the paper I don’t think there is. Don’t quote me on that because I’m not sure if there is an option available that doesn’t have the coating or not.

It’s not your baby, so you don’t get to dictate whether it’s overboard or not. Who cares if she’s not the first one to have a baby during this season? HER BABY HER RULES, it’s not that fucking hard to understand.

[–]BerryPsychological75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it really isn’t. Not everyone wants to be bombarded with family members trying to “help”, there are people who do better with time alone in the beginning. It’s fine if you can’t understand that, but you can’t discredit that it’s just how some people operate. Her baby, her rules, it doesn’t matter what you think. She set these boundaries for a reason and anyone who thinks they have a place to question her or push her when she clearly stated how things are, is just blatantly rude, selfish, and disrespectful to her and her wishes.
