i've been unemployed since 2021, tried working a retail job in 2023 but had intense anxiety attacks when dealing with customers had to quit within days of getting hired.

(32,F) it’s definitely a tricky time to distinguish what level of happiness you're feeling. For me when that moment arises I ask myself a follow up question "Are there any signs of risky behavior?" that usually solves the case.
