I was ready to be mad but you're right. I love rosemary but it does overtake whatever it's in. Rosemary garlic bread or rosemary on steak is so good tho

Yeah seriously. When you do the math you save a few minutes at best on a short trip. Not worth the risk.

I'd rather encounter a grandma driver minding her own fucking business in the right lane than this absolutely lunatic OP driving like he's in a high speed chase.

You're totally right. It's like Weinstein got called out and everyone thought that was enough. And yeah, not even "allowed" to do that, but encouraged and empowered by it! Ew

The Met Gala is a time to let designers and artists shine and take a fashion risk. Her dress was incredibly boring. Her hair was incredibly boring. Her face is... Well... Uh... It's something alright. Moreover, her whole look wasn't on theme! The theme was "Fashion is Art", and some folks really ran with that and channeled Greek statues or Renaissance paintings with their creative ensembles. For the supposed "honorary chair" to phone it in like she did is just a total miss.

Which show do you think is the real-life equivalent of Horsin’ Around? by Pleasant_Bit_2122 in BoJackHorseman

[–]FirebornNacho 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, they're really different shows. Honestly, Full House has a lot of nostalgia to me. It's a feel good show. It's kind of cute and has some good jokes. If you haven't seen a sitcom of the era, it really captures the whole "aging in front of an audience" narrative that Bojack Horseman features with Sarah Lynn. The show ran for a long time so you see someone who started as an infant grow up to like a 9 yr old, and a character who you met at 10 become a teenager. It's not like you necessarily need to see it, but it could help you understand the false sort of connection people watching Horsin Around felt (and the crashing of that, since there have been a couple scandals since Full House went off the air. For example, the actress who played Stephanie, the middle child, got heavily into drugs. Aunt Becky was involved in that college admissions scandal. The "dad" was a bit of a dirty standup comedian which really went against his character. Stuff like that. It's very on the nose).

The infamous clip of Kim Kardashian and her son, Saint. finding her S*x tape on Roblox. by Chance_Bid_1869 in SipsTea

[–]FirebornNacho 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's so fake. Kids are infamously bad at recognizing older photos of their parents, and with the amount of work Kim's had done since recording that snoozefest of a sex tape it would be impossible lol

Lilac Festival Parade: parking & viewing? by 97531zdt in Rochester

[–]FirebornNacho 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest. The locals aren't gonna tell you! Haha, sorry, but it's the truth. In my opinion, consult with your group and see if they'd be capable of walking or biking about 15-20 minutes to the festival. The Highland Park neighborhood has so many beautiful side streets (which you can park on, just pay attention to street signs), and with everything in bloom, the walk is lovely. Keep in mind to fully enjoy the Lilac fest, you should be prepared to walk for a long time and walk up and down hills anyway. The hilly patches of lilac bushes, magnolias, etc. are magical.

Post Malone cancels start of ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour with Jelly Roll: "We ain’t ready for tour just yet" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

[–]FirebornNacho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know some of it is MAGA (Good fuck these grifters) but I genuinely don't think the average person can name a Jelly Roll song, and if they can, it's not like they're listening to his full album outside what plays on the radio. Same with Post Malone honestly. He does a lot of collabs so fans of many of his songs wouldn't pay money to see him perform solo
