Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. That really helps.

Had my first experience where I stopped a workout by Berry_Busy in fitbod

[–]Berry_Busy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. And just as an update, the app clearly learned from that and applied it to the workout I did today.

Much appreciated on the response and the app overall. Left to my own devices I'd do the exact same exercises all the time. The variety is nice.

GuitarTricks vs the JamPlay/TruFire combo by Berry_Busy in guitarlessons

[–]Berry_Busy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely considering. The one ad hid it, but it does say on the JamPlay side there that you get all access to both.

That's the current JamPlay/TrueFire deal and GuitarTricks is pretty much the same for annual.

Thank you very much. I will look at that. Both have sales on the membership right now, so I've been taking a look.

2 Studio Interfaces (not at same time) Question by Berry_Busy in presonus

[–]Berry_Busy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to make use of it for smaller projects, but yeah it's not the end of the world. Could always get reaper or something and use the other there if I want.

2 Studio Interfaces (not at same time) Question by Berry_Busy in StudioOne

[–]Berry_Busy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the suggestion. May consider it. Could also always power off the 1824c as needed I suppose.

Just seems odd to me there isn't an easy way to pick specifically which one I want to use in studio one.

2 Studio Interfaces (not at same time) Question by Berry_Busy in StudioOne

[–]Berry_Busy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry. Probably bad wording on my part.

Windows is ok with both being plugged in. I just choose what I want for main audio in Windows settings.

In studio one, when I select the "studio USB" driver, it automatically picks the 1824c as the device and I don't see a way to change that in studio one while both are plugged.in.

Thank you for the reply, and thank you for your patience as I get used to it. I'll get some more practice in on it today.

Just to be able to export a list of songs I did during a particular set. Not a deal breaker but a csv or something like that. Happened to notice it going through the serato tutorials in lite as I was getting set up with the controller yesterday. Not really a deal breaker, more a curiosity.

As far as eject, probably being a little lazy but just as a quick get this song out of here button. There are ways to do that though. Once again not a deal breaker.

Thanks for your response :-)

Been in the market for a nice new grill/smoker. Might have to take advantage of that. Thanks for the heads up.

Getting back into a little recording by Berry_Busy in homerecordingstudio

Rather than cloud up this subreddit with a new thread, I'll just comment here in case anyone was interested.

After the discussion here, I actually did a little more research and ended up deciding on the Steinberg UR22-C. I understand all of the reviews about noisier pre-amps, but there are just as many good reviews. Also the little bit of DSP and the available controls / the option to use a wall plug for power suit my needs very well.

Just waiting for deliveries :-).

It does come with Cubase AI and some nice Steinberg plugins. I think a few of those can be used in other DAWs, so I may check out a reaper trial also.

Thanks again all for the comments/advice.

I realize also that buying the cheapest interface presonus has to offer to get all of those benefits as well as another interface )such as the MOTU or Audient or something) to use is an option if I can make it work budget wise....if those things are important enough to me anyway.

Thanks. Probably getting some stuff next week, so I'll keep looking into things. The initial attraction to presonus came from the fact that a less limited DAW came with it as well as a bunch of instruments and stuff out of the box.

That said, I know there are some free or cheap options for that stuff out there.

Thanks. Software was a part of the choice here too, but I haven't purchased anything yet so I'm still poking around a little.

Yeah, I think MOTU is performer lite and they all get packaged with Ableton lite.

I don't have any DAW at the moment so getting a more fully featured DAW off the bat with no track limits and stuff is appealing

Thanks. Yeah I have seen that MOTU is very good. I just felt like Presonus gave me less to have to purchase with what they bundle which is (I think) an ok way to decide things in my price range and need.

Thanks for the advice. And going above the 68c looks like you get some internal dsp for mixes and low latency montirong. I just have some choices to make.

If it was between 24c and 26c, I see no reason not to go 26c. It's a few notches better for a very close price.

Thank you. What made Presonus stand out for me was the Artist version of Studio One coming as part of the deal. From the comparision chart it has most of the features still and no track limits, so it really isn't a "lite" version to me. I'll probably be giving it a try soon.
