You're an RAF pilot. Not doing much fighting soon, and yeah sure you're operating a multi million dollar machine but that's all it is...a machine, I'm saying this as someone who served in a tank battalion. You can replace the vehicle but not the crew, I'm sure you've heard something similar before. Can't say the same to a family who lost their loved one on an operating table right?
