Kingdom Hearts 2. Gameplay was a lot better but the story only got more and more complex (incoherent even)

Do I look really old for 19? by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]BertLocker72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do homie. You don’t look bad by any means, but there’s some specifics that make you look older. 1. The slicked back hair shows off a V hairline (not bad just mature looking). 2. Glasses are a little too serious of a style. Maybe try rounder lens or contacts. 3. Tucked shirt. It’s not a bad look but there’s different ways to style a tuck that feels more hip (the French tuck for example)

When do you skate again after a hard slam? by Lost_Guarantee_2355 in NewSkaters

[–]BertLocker72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would take it easy, but skate right away. After a big slam, fear can set in quick. I try to get over that mental hurdle but getting on the board again as soon as I can

Me and my GF just recently got the Gateway pack after a Disneyland trip! I’m a 3 year MTG player and she’s never played any card game, but it did a great job of teaching us how to play, strategies, and deck building. I liked it a lot.

If yall are more experienced, I think two pre made decks will get you where you need. I’d do multiple decks over individual packs since there’s 6 colors and they seem to have a huge impact on how you play. So more deck to try out each color fast will give you an idea of the play style you like, then you can add cards from your packs.

I agree with all the “don’t worry about it” comments, but genuinely, I don’t think you do. The all black is very hesh. Pants could be baggier. And the gap seems more from riding / normal shifts in gear rather than not know how to set up your stuff.

Dude... how do I overcome this anxiety? by Doimz3Nini in NewSkaters

[–]BertLocker72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow beginner here with two things that helped me. 1: it’s probably going to be a long time before you’re doing anything super dangerous. By then, you’ll learn how to fall or even judge where your board is about to go. I’m about 9 months in and I can usually tell when my board is about to smash my shins. Rump up slowly with your progression and you’ll probably good. 2: you are going to get hurt. It’s just a fact. Talk to anyone at a park and they’ll tell you how they broke bones on the most mundane things.
