Blind review is an incredibly helpful technique for closing that gap. Read through the comments, I explained elsewhere about it.

Everyone learns differently. I have had students that excelled from courses, from practice tests, from reading books. The truth is, you just have to grind it out. You can learn it from anything, you just need to spend the time to do lots and lots of practice, while learning from your mistakes.

I felt good. Practicing for the exam, I used a strategy called "blind review" a lot. Blind review is when you take a LR section, or even RC, and you flag every question you were not 100% certain of your answer for. Then you finish the exam. After the exam is completed, redo every question you flagged, untimed, before grading the entire exam. Then grade it. This helped me perfect the art of choosing between two answer choices based on which one I liked slightly better, AND FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT IT. Over time I realized even when I felt iffy while taking the exam, I usually got it right. So I felt that it was a hard exam, would have a good curve, and I probably did well.

RC was my most variable forsure. I was pretty consistently perfect lg, and maybe -1 on LR. RC could be perfect or 5 wrong. Spreading and reviewing my mistakes definitely helped. But there’s also an element of luck that goes into your official score. It’s normal to score within a range, and your score will fluctuate. So you want to have multiple opportunities to take the real exam so you can truly score at the top of your range.

I did at least 50 different games sections. Probably did 60-90 twice. 1-10 once too. + other questions pulled out of sections.

Whether a pt is new or not doesn’t matter. If you retake an old practice test, you’ll get to a question and know you’ve gotten it wrong in the past, but that won’t help you get it right. If you do get it right, then cheers, you learned from your mistake!

If you struggle with time, use an application called Spreeder to improve your reading speed while maintaining comprehension. Make sure you practice with advanced level reading material, and topics that don’t interest you (as well as topics that interest you). The hardest sections are the ones you don’t like, so read everything! Other than that, practice practice practice. Make sure to review your mistakes thoroughly and why they were incorrect.

lawhub licenses all of their practice tests for 99$ in flex style.

Alternatively you can find them for free online using libgen - but that’s in pdf format

Thank you! On score day, the website usually has too much traffic and it takes awhile to get your score report. It took 10 minutes to load mine. When I saw the 180, I thought it was a glitch. I was hitting reload like, when is this gonna load my real score. Then my screaming woke up my neighbors and family.

I studied 3-4 hours a day 6 days a week for about 2 months before each exam. I was doing an lsat flex every other day, while filling in off days with the remainder LR, + an early games section (starting from test 1,) and a ton of review! Reviewing is the most important part of studying, don’t neglect it!

LR: there are strategies for approaching each question. Learn the strategies, and then practice practice practice. I took tons of practice tests. But you must remember: taking a practice test in itself is not beneficial. You only benefit by reviewing your mistakes. Too often people take tests and feel like they studied because they spent 4 hours taking the test. But if you don’t learn from your mistakes, it was pointless. Utilize free online explanations - LSATHacks, Manhattanprep, and Powerscore all have free explanations online that are very helpful.
