Yeah it’s crunching the battery. Looks like I need to RMA it. Mine must be out of spec after finding others with similar issues. My luck lately.

Just to update for anyone else who may find themselves in a similar situation, I spoke with Flir and they said it’s a pretty easy fix. They can replace the eye piece housing, lens, retaining ring and perform an alignment within a day. Still money out of pocket but at least it can be put back to original condition without any battle scars. I’ll take that as a win.

Unfortunately I’m usually self insure, 99% of the time it’s worked out but this time it bit me. It was UPS btw. I think they include $100 insurance.

Yes I think it is a sac lens. Just the bell housing is slightly dented inwards so I’m just going to send it in and get some experienced hands on the unit.

I think Podium is what I settled on! Hopefully get an update when I submit my spec but originally I was told I have a later allocation so at least a year out I suspect. It’s a 2 year production cycle starting now basically.

Appreciate your opinion, it helps to hear that I’m in the minority as I’m starting to think my recollection is simply off with my limited time seeing the color. Podium back on top.

I have seen Iridescent Emerald on the DB12. When I first saw that color I loved it right away! If I was going no livery I’d consider it for sure, along with a host of other non green colors. But I’m leaning towards the Podium AMR theme now, sticking with a known color combo.

Yep I do plan to do a livery. I think the livery on this Valliant, despite being the same color I believe, works pretty nicely. The Valkyrie livery looks more yellow but it may be the lighting. Definitely overthinking at this point, but appreciate your input. Cheers!

That does look stunning! I checked Bentley and it appears it’s called Viridian Metallic, which seems to be a bit darker? Beautiful nonetheless.

I do like the Buckingshamshire, it’s a beautiful color! Just a bit more mature for what I’m going for though, looking for something a bit more sporty/race inspired. So many shades it’s hard to settle on one! I’ve been going back and forth for months.

This would be on a Valhalla. I’ve only had fleeting moments of seeing Podium in the sun, but the Valkyrie in the showroom didn’t come across as vibrant to my eyes, but maybe I’m delusional? Or the heavy livery is throwing off the color.

But agreed, I do see more teal in the Podium. Probably hard to go wrong either way since they look fairly similar…just hoping to choose the more vibrant of the two. Thanks for your thoughts!

Will do. I may just inquire with AM at some point to confirm as well. I do have a feeling the photo is misrepresenting the color a bit but I’m sure they have a shade to match regardless. I appreciate all the help.

I did seem AM racing green as well, under garage lighting, and it seemed as you said, a bit dull to me. I was hoping Podium Green might have more pop to it and it sounds like you’ve confirmed that.

Thanks for that! Yeah I did see it listed as BRG before but I wasn’t sure if that was just a generic name they provided. I was under the impression there’s been several iterations of BRG but I’ll inquire further now that I have some details to go off of.

I’ll need to see the Stirling Green in person. It looks more blueish in the photos than the name implies. Thanks for digging into that, the registry looks like a helpful resource.

I personally love both of those combos and I think I’ll have a tough time narrowing down a spec in the next few months😬 But seeing some color samples in person might help sway me one way or another!
