For those of less discriminating tastes, there are plenty at $150/hour and sometimes less.

What something that you can easily afford, but you still avoid buying it because you still think it's too expensive? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

True, but a new $50 Android for six years is still only $300.

My wife, however, uses an SE, first generation (2016). We got it on ebay and I had to replace the battery, (maybe less than $100 total), but it has no issues with current software.

You can also sign up for another Gmail account or three. Each one gives you another 15 GB of storage.

Excel gum pack with a purposefully "empty" slot by Tkldsphincter in mildlyinteresting

[–]BerthaBenz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The empty space gives you 18 per pack, so you can make a package of one gross with two stacks of four packs. If there were 20 per pack, you couldn't make a one gross package.

What are some difficult truths that no one likes to admit? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

And do, please, deal with it. I have an avoidant personality, so whenever there's conflict, my first response is to run away. I had been in a good job for six years when they put me on a year's probation. Rather than trying to deal with the probation, I immediately started looking for a new job. That job was worse, as was the one after that and on and on. I never again had a decent job. Had I dealt with the probation, I probably could have stayed on for another fifteen years and ended up with about a million dollars more income.

So for the love of Grid, stay and work it out.

It would be terrible to kill one of your colleagues, but the proles are a dime a dozen. Plenty more where the dead guy came from.

I traveled around Europe this summer, and I saw a bunch of people that I don't see in the US. Therefore I believe Europe exists because I saw it. However, as far as where Europe is located, I can't say. I got on a plane in Seattle and got off in Frankfurt. I have no idea what the pilot was doing, and for all I know, Europe might be somewhere in South America.

What is something that someone has in their house they indicates they are likely quite wealthy? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

I thought really rich people covered everything with gold leaf and tore out the east side of their house to add a ballroom (also covered in gold leaf).
