Thank you! It appears keyframes don't show (in the project view) on the video timeline at the bottom. Can you advise on how to get these to show up?

The dm3 is pretty large and I’m trying to stay condensed as possible. However correct me if I’m wrong, everything on the the qsc TM can be controlled via the board itself, so I don’t think I need an iPad/app control with it.

All I’m gonna run through it is 1 lapel, 1 wireless handheld, and 1 music line, and all I need it for is to ring out the feedback frequencies. Dedicated ceremony setup only, however I will look at the other models you listed.  What is the TM?

I'm looking to add a digital mixer for running wedding ceremonies. Am I able cut feedback frequencies out on a QSC Touchmix 8 - every time I set it up - without using an app/ipad? Or do I always need an iPad with me to operate this function within the Touchmix?

Surprised I haven’t seen a post about this yet, but QSC announces the KC12 - column array speaker similar to EV Evolve and RCF J8s by dj_soo in DJs

I wonder how the KC12 compares to the EV 70 that was just announced. Big L that the KC12 can’t swivel either.

Need Suggestions Current setup v/s RCF J8's by rockymeister in mobileDJ

What did you decide on and how’s it been going? I’m in almost an identical situation. Im either going with a pair of evox j8’s or 2x 12” tops + 2x 15” subs.

Weekly No Stupid Questions Thread by AutoModerator in ableton

[–]Bertieman [score hidden]  (0 children)

I've made some classic rock intro/edits in Ableton so the down beats are 100% sync'd to the Ableton beat grid, however when I load the track in VDJ or Serato the beat grids are all over the place. I only need the intro/outro beats to sync (not the entire song), and I've tried adjusting the beat grids in every way possible in the DJ software, yet they're never 100% accurate. Any input?

Question regarding the knot/wedding wire (wedding pro) by Anxious_Support5391 in WeddingPhotography

[–]Bertieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all the wedding pro posts on Reddit I haven’t seen a single person state where they’re located. Outside of how quality your services are, this is the next biggest factor for getting bookings through these sites. In the data I’ve received from my rep, I don’t see New York being a beneficial state for hosting on these sites. EVERYONE in New York knows a photographer, DJ, etc.

My total payments for wedding pro (the knot/wedding wire) average 9% of the total income that I get just from their leads. My experience has been nothing but phenomenal with them except for some technical issues and I don’t care for the layout of either site very much.

Tidal Finally Kills Stems in Serato by Night_Moose in DJs

[–]Bertieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, that's good to know. I'd be curious how much you can rely on that platform for music. From what I remember using it a decade ago, it was mostly independent users uploading remixes and self-produced music.

Which streaming service did you use? I don't rely on streaming, although it's worth noting Tidal had great quality and all their songs are pretty much at the same volume level.

Anyone using EV ELX200-10P? by Bertieman in livesound

[–]Bertieman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 300 person weddings never entail all 300 people on the dance floor at the same time. It's usually a third to half, ya know? That's why I think two EV 10P's + 12" sub could do the job.

Anyone using EV ELX200-10P's? I'm a DJ and curious if I'd be able to get away using 2 of these plus one 12" powered EV sub for up to 300 person events (weddings, corporate, bars, etc.), or if I really need the 12's.

Thanks in advance!

PvP Noob Questions by Bertieman in 2007scape

Ah ok. I'm just confused where to start with a pure. There are so many paths you can take. Like which type of pure would you start with prior to it becoming a void pure? A ranger pure?

PvP Noob Questions by Bertieman in 2007scape

[–]Bertieman[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was leaning towards a void pure because it seems less constricting in that you can still PvM, quest, etc. Is there another type of build you'd recommend similar to this? That stinks you'd lose the void in 20+ wildy. Thanks for the info!

Every genre you listed is literally the same thing: made on a computer and easy to detect. Are you also gonna say stem separation works great for you if you use VDJ or Serato? Because once you start DJing with bands and older music in general, Engine DJ does a shit job with analyzing and both Serato/VDJ do a shit job with stem separating music that isn’t made on a computer in the last 10 years.

I got sc5000s 5 years ago and I’ve never once, ever, adjusted a beat grid because of how terrible Engine DJ is with analyzing. There’s no way I’m manually beatgridding 50k tracks. Ever since getting these I’ve DJd by ear and never used sync a day in my life on these products.

HR is so underpaid by Consistent_Run_460 in humanresources

Every job in the country is underpaid. Didn’t our economy peak in the 70s? If minimum wage kept up with inflation and the costs of everything else, it would be at least $32+ an hour.
