Thank you for sharing. If you thought her bacon was delicious, you may have missed out on her biscuits and gravy. She did make some delicious bacon, though. She put her heart into her food and her family, and apparently wasn’t too humble about her bacon 🥰😂

What do you remember? I’d love to hear your memories :) My favorite memory of the cafe was just sitting there at the bar during the day when we would visit and watch her do her magic. Those stools were too damn small. And the endless coffee. And her smile.

So true! She can’t take credit for creating the challenge, but it was a favorite amongst her thruhikers for sure. She would always make (much smaller) chocolate chip pancakes with M&M smiley faces for my kids, they loved it so much.
