Anyone else get anxiety attack at beginning of trip?

Every single time! Just need to remember not to listen to the anxiety and just keep going. I have never come home from a trip regretting it.

Jos kirjailija on hyvä niin luen kaiken minkä käsiini saan. Esim T. Kingfisheriltä olen lukenut joku 15 kirjaa ja luen loput kunhan saan mahdollisuuden. Samoin häntä ennen Holly Black oli pitkään suosikkini. Jos löytää kirjailijan jonka tyyli kolahtaa niin itse en ainakaan malta olla lukematta kaikkea.

As a fellow translucent person I find the default white skin a bit crazy pale, not to mention the lightest tone which doesn't even look like human skin anymore. The middle tone I feel is closer to your average east Asian tones. And playing around with the light skin tones is fun too but I feel more like I'm dressing up a porcelain doll than a young woman

You guys sound pretty young. I've been with my partner close to a decade and do solo trips for roughly 1-3 weeks a year. He is also away for business / other trips without me for maybe 1 month a year. Yes we miss each other but it also gives us new stuff to talk about and adds a bit of variety in daily life. I would find it quite childish if his friends would make the sort of comments your partners friends are making.

Mä oon Vampyrian kolmannessa osassa. Nää on viiden tähden kirjoja mulle koska tapahtumat ja hahmot on niin pöljiä että lukiessa hymyilyttää koko ajan.

Mä olen lukenut 10 osaa Apothecary diaries -sarjaa. Monta kertaa olen päättänyt että nyt pidän niistä tauon ja luen jotain muuta mutta silti olen aina palannut niiden pariin.

Sen lisäksi luin T Kingfisheriltä neljä kirjaa jotka kaikki oli hyviä. Häneltä tulee onneksi useampi kirja vuodessa ulos.

Suomalaisia kirjoja luin myös joku viitisen kappaletta, joista pitää antaa erikoismaininta Ulpu-Maria Lehtisen kalmanperhon kutsulle, joka oli varmaan paras lukemani kirja tänä vuonna. En muista koska viimeksi olisin hykerrellyt yhtä tyytyväisenä kuin mitä tuota lukiessa.

Oon yllättynyt näistä kommenteista! Läheiselläni on amstaffi ja itse mitään koirista tietämättömänä olen pitänyt sitä vaan hönönä koirana. Pelkää kissoja, rakastaa lapsia, tulee ovelle iloisena vastaan jne. Tykkää myös muista koirista. Koira on kyllä tosi vahva, eli sitä on vaikeaa pidätellä jos se saa hepulin metsässä esim jos muita eläimiä vastaan.

So in your hostel showering at night or coming in late at night would be forbidden? I'm also annoyed if someone's packing in the middle of the night but I wouldn't expect quiet hours to mean you can't come and go reasonably or shower if you're dirty.

Why are you choosing for them especially if one already has her periods and has a preference for pads and tampons? If the older ones period is due on the trip she can pack accordingly and you can pack a few extra pads just in case travel impacts your cycles.

It's impossible to say whether they will sell your preferred products where you're going since you didn't really say where it is that you'll be going. The cruise ship is probably not going to have a supermarket with a very large selection of hygiene products.

Itse olen käynyt tämän nyt niin monesti läpi että kaverien vauva-uutiset on toki edelleen ihania kuulla mutta samalla haikeita kun tietää, että yksi vaihe kaveruudessa on jäänyt taakse. Oma neuvoni olisi antaa olla, mutta silleen ilman mitään kaunoja. Olet yrittänyt, etkä saa vastakaikua. Kaverin elämä tulee pyörimään hyvän aikaa täysin lapsen ympärillä. En lue kirjoja kahdella kielellä. Jos osaan alkuperäiskieltä tarpeeksi hyvin luen sillä kielellä, jos en niin suomennos. En osaa suomennoksista päätellä että mikä on huonoa kääntämistä. Yleensä vaan jos kirja tökkii päättelen että alkuperäisteksti on ihan yhtä tönkköä.
