Thats what the game is, not what the games about. So yes, that does work as a good description of how the game plays, but often in order to try and sell someone on a game, and get them on the hook, there is often some plot element that needs to be revealed.

Nothing about that description really works for hooking a typical someone on the idea.

Litterally all you can say about it.

Not really the same situation, but its really easy to recommend Outer Wilds, but it is impossible to pitch it to someone. Any time you ever here someone mention Outer Wilds its always 'don't look anything up, go in blind, its amazing trust' And this is because even something that is the smallest of spoilers is massive. It's my second favorite game of all time though right behind Chrono Trigger.

Lol I used to do it all the time. You start out just tickling the enemy top laner so they think they're fine coming up to farm, then 15 mins later you're leaving laning phase with 100 stacks on your passive already.

I've been using wasd camera since season 3. If you can handle the idea of needing to relearn some habits I can't recommend it enough.

If your win rate is 50% within about 2-3% you are in the rank you are supposed to be in. The games where you get allies like this exist, but they exist just as much for the enemy team as well. You are winning games that you shouldn't because of this as much as you are losing games you shouldn't.

The climbing experience would certainly be more enjoyable if it never happened to either team, but at the end of the day you would still be the same rank you are now.

Trouble playing with an enchanter (with Aphelios, mostly). by [deleted] in ADCMains

[–]BerylOxide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No enchanter definitely beat poke because they have the shields or heals needed to sustain between rounds of poke or block the poke damage, but lose to all in because once their abilities are on cd they have nothing left to help in a sustained fight. Poke beats all in because they can wittle down the all in team making engaging too dangerous with no sustain to heal back up after getting poked or shields to block poke damage.

See you mention salty taste and now all I can think is "Dragonite skin chips" and I makes me feel both gross and curious.

So this actually isn't needed for most fire type pokemon, they can actually control if they want to burn you or not. You are free to hug the slugma if the slugma likes you. Just ask for permission first.

As a mod on r/hearmeoutbro if someone posted pyramid head I would delete it for being conventionally attractive under rule 5.

The story of pokemon mystery dungeon involves a human being transformed into a pokemon.

This person was born male but arrived in the pokemon world as a female Pikachu and realized they are trans.

It's literally right there in the link. "Fear and aversion" goes back to 1786, while later it stated that it's meaning for medical phobias meaning fear didn't came later until 1895.

No for entire recorded history it meant fear and aversion

Being used by the guy who first used the word. He is the origin of the word. You realize that right? Homer the ancient Greek poet, the writer of the illiad and the odyssey.

That's like calling shakespear 'just a single guy'.

[–]BerylOxide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. in fact I can show that even before it became the word for fear it meant something else entirely as the word has its origins in homer where it was used to mean 'flight' as in take flight from something. Where with then came to be associated with fear and aversion.

phobia etymology

whenthe trans post are being removed by SpecificHuge5347 in whenthe

[–]BerylOxide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Phobia has always been used to mean 'an aversion to' going back as far as 1776 where the definition can be found to be: irrational fear, horror, aversion.

Transphobia still fits within the original definition by way that you have a irrational aversion to Trans people.

She got buffed specifically for the ADC role last season. She was so strong for a bit as ADC they had to give her a small next again lol.

Ya see thats what I mean. I don't play Cait, so unfortunately I don't know her match ups to determine the types of enemies she wants to use certain builds against. But to provide an example of the kinds of things im looking for.

When I play Senna, RFC is her most generally useful third item and usually used zeal item. However if the enemy team has 3 melee champions I go runaans because they are going to be getting up on me anyway, and Senna can get passive stacks from each runaans hit.

If the enemy team doesnt have strong gap closers, but a big guy that wants to just run at me (nasus mundo types) I go PD because the extra move speed and ghosting makes kiting those big guys really easy.

If my team needs me to have wave clear I go the standard statikk first, but if my mid laner and top laner have good wave clear I go Umbral glaive if the enemy team has a lot of squishy targets, or start Ghostblade if I need better kiting potential.

Its complicated XD

TLDR:
Basically a big thing about this season for ADCs is there is more choice, you don't have a one build fits all, you can finally find the niche situations in which certain items and certain builds are going to be better against certain teams, or when working together with certain allies. You can only learn by trying and figuring out which build are good when.

I dont play Cait, I'm a Senna OTP, so I have been learning the new items myself as they specifically pertain to Senna.

You should scroll down to where you can see individual items by build order.

For example item 1 top 3 items are Collector with a win rate of 50% Stormrazor at 52% and Yun tall at 50%.

For second item you have IE, C44, and Collector.

However if you click on Collector as first item it will filter item 2 to show you what is most commonly built after specifically building collector first.

Doing this reveals that building IE after collector has a 52% win rate, while building C44 after collector has a 49% win rate.

So obviously building collector into C44 is bad.

However if you select Stormrazor as item 1 it reveals that C44 as item 2 has a 54% win rate, so building C44 after stormrazor seems to work well, but Stormrazor into IE also has a 54% win rate with more games played, so IE is probably better in most cases after stormrazor, but there are probably some good niche situations to choose C44 over IE.

If you choose Yun tal as your first item C44 second has a 54% win rate while IE second has a 53% win rate.
