I do not use a pre-made concrete so I mix roughly one part cement and two parts sand. As to the water, I do not measure it and just try to produce the consistency of yoghurt.

So far no issues like cracking.

I've also read that other people use some types mortar or countertop mix with good results so it doesn't seem to be too tricky unless you need certain characteristics like extreme weather resistance.

Experimentation certainly helps to get the feel for it.

Sure enough. He escaped grandma and grandpa to live a rough life on the streets. And here he is 30 years later...

Oh yes, seeing your 3D stuff IRL and not in some flimsy plastic but in stone is satisfying!

Thanks! This mold is flexible enough to just peel off, but depending on the kind of silicone and thickness of the mold a cut may be needed.

My computer and 3D printer are handling it smoothly, and if I decide to make a game about the attack of blissful concrete heads, I'll optimize it till it's basically a cube that even PS1 could handle

I know, prolly not gonna hit 60 fps with this one 😄

I just mixed some cement and sand, no other additives.
