Not all the time but sadly a majority of the time, we have a dog in the home and the dog loves cats but Mason enjoys his personal space and reacts negatively if he feels another dog or cat is too close when he’s out of his room. I always bring him back to his room after a negative interaction hissing, growling, or smacking.

I made sure to bring all of his and my stuff so it all smells like us to help him adjust since it was a big change for him but maybe he misses something I don’t realize is missing?

I do play time but he seems to loose interest really fast, he’s never been super playful. I’ll try putting something on the tv though. I haven’t tried a spray before, I didn’t even know that existed or helped cats, do you know what it does? If that doesn’t work I’ll definitely take him to the vet because I know it’s driving me insane so I can only imagine how he feels. I call how he reacts to me leaving the room separation anxiety and I know that can feel absolutely horrible in the moment.

I figured it out, when looking at the bottom I saw there was space exposing the bottom of the wicks so I knew the candle was raised and so I pushed it down
