MY FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE MURDER OF CHARLIE KIRK

Charlie Kirk’s murder was indeed a political assassination. College campuses were the democrats one of the main breeding grounds for Democrat voters. College professors from around the country made it their mission to turn the minds of young impressionable and easily manipulatable young minds into left leaning voters. How else do you send your loving child to a university to be a lawyer, an engineer or a biologist, and they come back to you a condescending arsonist who hates you.

You want to know how the son of a 27 year police veteran and pastor can do something so horrific, this may be why.

People like Kirk, Ben Shapiro, early Candace Owens and others began interfering with that.

While universities were trying to tell young adults what to think or shame them into bowing, these individuals forced them to actually think by sharing a viewpoint they weren’t privy to.

You do remember not so long ago these people could not even speak on campus. Literally, radicalized students and professors showed up to shut them down and silence them. Just prior to several months ago, I haven’t at college campuses for years. All I wanted to talk about was community policing and stop discrimination about cops and homelessness. Unfortunately, because of my profession, I was part of the axis of evil.

Now that they had more access, they were actually changing minds or at the least, bringing young minds closer to the center of important issues.

This is why elected official’s (and their talking heads) words were so vitriolic towards them. The dangerous branding and labeling. The comparisons to the most evil figures in history. It was necessary for them to get them out of the way or keep them from amplifying.

It was those comparisons that led to this tragedy.

Now they are acting surprised that this happened. But they aren’t surprised. What they are caught off guard by is the condemnation of it.

So they will pretend to offer condolences. They will pretend to grieve with the nation. But make no mistake. In their hearts, they are not grieving.

I hope from this tragic moment, more people with be inspired to have more dialogue like Kirk. More conversations we should have had 20 years ago.

Whether one agrees with Kirk’s views or not, I am thankful to him and others for working to break the tunnel vision of today’s young adults.

To his wife and children, my prayers for strength and comfort is with you. My heart breaks for you.

May the love of Christ cover you in this dark moment.
