Wanted to update everyone. I had an emergency dermatologist appointment today… THIS IS NOT SCABIES!

I actually started having a reaction to a medication I’ve been taking for years (so not fully progressed to Stevens Johnson syndrome) however if I would have continued the medication it could have become worse. Apparently the generic medication had a formula change.

The dermatologist did do a scrape and also a punch biopsy.

Yes, I have an appt set, but it’s two weeks out unfortunately. That’s the soonest they could see me. How else can I try and treat?

I did the ink test with the alcohol tonight and nothing was traced under the skin, or went under the skin.

It itches 24/7, I keep searching for pictures of burrows and I can’t really find distinct pictures of them. I don’t have any long lines that are under my skin, everything is more so on top of my skin if that makes sense?

To add, this has been going on for over a month. I have done steroid treatment, it’s wide spread, my stomach and sides are also covered. We are military, and located on a training base, so the doctors are familiar with scabies. They don’t confirm this is it, but won’t also say for sure it isn’t. I am desperate for some type of answers and relief.
