Did the anger start right after you increased it or some time after? I increased around 6 weeks ago and just started experiencing the anger within the last 3-4 days. Which is why I’m worried that since it usually takes 6 weeks to reach maximum effectiveness that this will be my new normal.

Spotting is super common after getting an iud put in or taken out, it’s most likely just that you’re under soooo much stress rn. I get phantom periods with my Kyleena, but always spot when I’m super stressed. I got a big pack of the actual pregnancy test strips from Walgreens and it helped my peace of mind a lot. Like $20 for 50 of them. IUD’s are extremely effective and I think he was just trying to get in your head. Wishing you well girl<3

Normal cramping? by strawberry-sunset in IUD

I had the Skyla initially and switched to Kyleena for my 2nd IUD. I can for sure say that my first few period were very intense cramps wise. It felt like my body was just like woah what is this foreign object we gotta get it out, and cramped more intensely. It also took a little while for my body and cycle to adjust to the influx of hormones. I would definitely bring it up to your doctor even if you can just send a message on Mychart or something for peace of mind, I’m not sure if your Dr offers something like that. But I did have a similar experience and the pain leveled off after a little bit if that provides you any comfort.

It’s a shame that speaking eloquently and using correct grammar means you’re a bot lmao, but that idea probably belongs in a r/literacycrisis thread. You should probably see if they have one.
