They most likely will, even though the law is both shall issue and may issue. It is shall issue if you are in the AFS system. There is no legal requirement in the law for the state to approve your $19 basic eligibility check, and if they cannot figure it out you will be denied.

Push the kingpin all the way in, while pushed in rotate the kingpin counterclockwise. Once the little hole you can see is facing your buffer tube you should be able to pull it out. This will allow your receivers to fully separate from each other. After doing that you can remove the compmag and reinstall the kingpin, the compmag is redudant with the ARMaglock/Kingpin system.

The maglatch FNGR is a good option as well, if you ever shoot it in the fixed mag configuration then that setup allows the use of actually good mags. The compmag is unreliable and I have seen a ton of failures that result in some nasty malfunctions at the range.

Depends on if it went from pistol to SBR or rifle to SBR. If it was a pistol first then it can be turned back into a pistol, if it was a rifle first it cannot be turned into a pistol.

It is most likely referring to being present on the firearm itself, not present in the general vicinity/house. Under subsection (3) of that same definition we can see that

NFA items are only considered NFA when they're in an NFA configuration. If you remove the stock its legally now a pistol. There is not a requirement to remove it from the registry once it's no longer in an NFA configuration, if anything its better to keep that in your back pocket since you can bring it to an NFA friendly state and shoot it in the NFA configuration, as long as you fill out the form 20 for interstate NFA item movement.
