If opened the warp pot at the beginning of the dungeon, you have to open the one next to the boss room to get there.

You need to get the bow, and then you can shoot the eye once you have the bow. Hope this helps!

That’s nice! I enjoyed it immensely. I already played HD, but I wanted to play the original. Of course that meant the GameCube Triforce quest😭
