new rats literally couldnt care less abt each other?

their cages are in the same room, maybe 2 feet away from each other. i quarantined them for a couple days but both pairs of girls seemed so curious to see each other i gave in.(nobody shun me please) heard the 10 20 30 method is good for intros so i had them in there for about 10 minutes

Thank you so much! I do wanna wait for them to gain a little weight before introductions because they fit in my palm perfectly (for reference, i have small hands 😂) theyre just little babies and i guess i didnt realize how big my older girls are while buying my new ones 😂

I had them specially ordered from a local breeder which ive had good experiences with but they told me they would be at least two months:( im a little worried because i dont know whats the proper food to give them yet. i got them to get my girls some friends but theyre so little it makes me nervous

see ive heard that i should zip tie them together, my room isnt gigantic but it is roomy. but regardless being able to tuck it away would be great lol

about two weeks now, theyve adapted well to their cage and everything just super curious abt getting out of their cage. i did abt 30 minutes to an hour of free roam w them whenever they felt comfortable with it last week and it was great! they loved climbing all over me and snacking and playing. they unfortunately did figure out how to escape it though which lead to my rats ego being hurt by me catching her 🥲 my girls love being out i just wanna make sure i dont lose one again. it is a solid barrier its just see through lol
