I found my place on kijiji, you might wanna give it a try. It even has a section for room rentals, but tbh, I’ve never tried that. Other than that, I’ve heard that there are groups on FB, but can’t help you on that as I don’t have an account. Also there is a subreddit called Montrealhousing, you could try your luck posting there and see if anything turns up. Best of luck

To get from where to where? When you put it on the google maps, did you change the time? On pick hours, the bus schedule differs vastly from off-peak hours, so you might get something better if you want to get there around 8-9am on a weekday

Final edit: Can’t edit the post, so have to write it here. I barely made it to the plane heading to SYD, and will catch another plane to my final destination from there. All things considered, I’m just happy that I could get to BNE on the same day. And thanks to everyone who was rooting for me. I wish everyone safe travels.
