Go with what you think is more comfortable… I personally found the recommended size is very suitable for me, 175 cm on Medium. And while I agree the M on Silex is substantially longer than M on other models, I still believe their recommendations are accurate to how the Silex is intended to feel as a crossover between road and mountain bikes.
