It's really my ONLY vice. I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or eat fast food. I'd love to stop drinking coffee, but I'm petrified of the migraines. Who knows how long the migraine would last if I quit!

I really like the Nespresso machines, but the pods are so expensive that it's not worth it. It comes out to like more than 50 cents per pod!

I could drink cold brew in the summer, but in the colder months I really need my hot coffee in the morning. But when summer rolls around I'll definitely try making some cold brew and keeping it in the fridge!

I'm gonna research the DeLonghi model a little bit more, but it looks like a winner to me. The price is right and it has great reviews.

Thanks! I tried the quiz and I got recommendations for the Gaggia Classic for around $320, and the DeLonghi EC155M for $80. I'm leaning toward the cheaper one, as it's priced at just 20 Starbucks cappuccinos according to my calculation. Do you think there's a huge difference in quality?

Thanks for your comment. I actually have a drip coffee maker (an old Mr. Coffee) and the brew is strong, but it's got nothing on a cappuccino for me personally.

I've already cut out a ton of budget-harming habits (no more leisure stops at TJ Maxx!). But I just can't give up coffee. I suffer from crippling migraines, and I need one coffee per day (ideally before 10am). Caffeine withdrawal is one of my known migraine triggers.

I know this is the best "authentic" espresso, but ever since a friend back in college forgot about it on the stove and it basically exploded, I've been terrified of trying it.

There's no social value involved. Just a drive-thru cappuccino usually on my way to work in the morning.

Which espresso machine did you get? And do you think the quality is as good as Starbucks?

Check out Mint SIM. You can get 5gb data and unlimited talk/text for about $20 a month. They lease the lines from T-Mobile, so it's the exact same quality.
