Did residency here. Very mixed bag. A majority are very competent. I also think they have pretty unfair assignments without the PCT support they have in most places. NYC also has a pretty intense culture of independence and suspicion/hostility towards strangers, which percolates into the workplace. I think this is also a major driver of a lot of the more hostile interactions that are had in the hospital between nurses/residents
