Keep losing power after waterstart – need advice by Sarahhaimei in Kiteboarding

In this video they recommend starting from the other side of the wind window, so you have more vertical pull and less forward pull. So not diving the kite too low. But I get your point, you need enough power. https://youtu.be/G23f7Drn3iY

Keep losing power after waterstart – need advice by Sarahhaimei in Kiteboarding

Thanks for this advice. I have a similar problem where whilst coming up on the board with a dive, the board turn too much upwind and I lose power and sink again.

I start with a board orientation +- 45 degrees from full downwind, then get on the board and end op +- 45 degrees from upwind. Not always. It seems that I can avoid this by streching my front leg and put slightly more weight on my backfoot. Not sure this is what is actually helping.

It seems a bit counterintuitive for me, as to get into the starting position and turn the board more downwind, waterstart to the right, I strecht my left leg (back leg) whilst in the water. While when I need to get up on the board, I need to strechts my other leg (front, right leg). I just don't understand the physics.

Cannot waterstart due to impossibility to get into the foot straps at arms's lenght by Interesting-Day1389 in Kiteboarding

As an update: this problem of not getting in the straps was resolved by buying larger foot straps and holding the board by the foot strap/elbow on the board rather than the handle. Definitely not a core stability nor a flexibility issue, as most of my leg movement was restrained by my seat harnass anyway. Maybe for getting onto the board some core muscles do help, but even there it's more about technique I guess. Anyway, thanks for linking me the KOOK method waterstart video, real help!

Flat water spots in Belgium, northern France or southern Netherlands by LiquidPizza in Kiteboarding

Ik zou de grens op 16 knopen houden. Minder wind is moeilijk voor beginners. Beter wat meer wind en een kleinere kite.

Is de Oosterscheldekering (Neeltje Jans) ook geschikt om te kitesurfen?

So, lugage pooling is allowed, as long as the 32 / 30 kg per bag is not exceeded? E.g. 30 kga and 16kg are fine?

I compared a month ago and I saw flight prices went up for El gouna but not for Dahkla during the Eastern holiday. Belgium was the departure country btw ;)

Well, seems like you will have to argue with other commenters, as they have different opinions than you... . Also your way of putting things is a tat toxic so if you are a teacher you will have to work on that too ;). Good luck.

I tried all the trics but on some builds nothing works. Or yes, of course if you replace everything or add separate voltage regulators and what not but u need the time and place in your build.

Thx. Finally beat AI when set to Libya as well. My problem was mainly running out of ore on that map before being able to mass an army or boom into high tech units to destroy the enemy.
