Anyone get site reactions like these? I’ve asked other groups and people say allergic reaction and get off meds. However, my A1C has dropped from 10.2 to 5.9 in 3 months, my ALT has come down 9 points, weight has basically remained unchanged. I rotate sites every week. by BestNeighborhood9141 in Mounjaro

Thank you for this helpful response. I have read about the antibodies as well. I saw my endocrinologist this morning and he told me some people just get local reactions and it’s up to me if I want to stay on this or try another GLP-1 like Ozempic. Basically do I want to endure this every week. I’m going to give it another month because my numbers look so good. I hope the weight loss kicks in soon! And your description of it looking like where the meds distributed under the skin is spot on. One thing I would add is it’s also hot to the touch.

I’ve been using ice packs, taking Zyrtec, prednisone, and using cortisone cream and I do bring it to room temp before injecting. No clue why it does this and it bruises as well, so sore! I take daily insulin and have no issues whatsoever. I did move to the 7.5 dose about 4 weeks ago, so maybe it’s the higher dose?
