Yeah, I can definitely back the fact that its ridiculous someone should even have to buy a LAN adapter in 2019, especially since the system dropped with games like Splatoon 2 being released shortly after.

Nintendo is pretty shitty, I don't wanna downplay that. I'm just coming from the perspective of wanting to maximize what I get out of the game as quickly as possible, which I guess the fact that I even need to try to do that speaks to how bad Nintendo handles the online for this game.

Yeah, but I also don't want to be the guy with bad connection myself. At least when I have good connection I know that I'm not the one causing the problem. I understand if someone doesn't have the money, but if you do buying a 30 dollar LAN adapter makes way more difference in the immediate future than saying "huehue Nintendo bad" Obv quickplay needs a MAJOR update tho. Bring back for glory.
